For four years Beanfield has been, and continues to be, Rainbow Registered, an accreditation we are proud to uphold. With the great resources available through the Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce (CQCC), Beanfield continues to learn and implement tools that promote inclusivity for our customers and our employees.  

What is Rainbow Registered?

Established in 2003, the CQCC has been a trusted partner linking 2SLGBTQI+ businesses in Canada to the wider business community. In 2021, with the support of the Federal government, the CQCC and Tourism HR Canada launched Rainbow Registered.

It is a prestigious national accreditation granted to businesses that demonstrate a high standard of 2SLGBTQI+ inclusion. To be accredited, an organization must prove compliance with quality standards across several pillars, including policies, practices, and training.

Inclusion as an Intention

As the program says: “It is more than a sticker, it’s an intention.”

Like one of our core values, “We Care” emphasizes, “We prioritize the well-being of our employees, partners, customers, and communities”. For Beanfield, this accreditation isn’t about checking a box. It’s about ensuring that our commitment to the 2SLGBTQI+ community—both within our office walls and throughout the neighbourhoods we serve—is backed by action and accountability.

We are proud to be Rainbow Registered, joining over 400 Canadian businesses dedicated to upholding accountable spaces. This means we hold ourselves responsible for the impact of our words and actions, regardless of intent. It’s a commitment to lifelong learning and to making sure every person in our community feels seen, included, and respected.

This accreditation is a time-limited designation, which means our work doesn’t stop here. We will continue to evolve our internal policies and community engagement to ensure we remain a market-ready, inclusive leader in the Canadian telecom industry.
