The superhero we didn’t know we needed 

Every company has a superhero that will swoop in and save the day.  At Beanfield we have a whole team (comparable to the Avengers, but who’s asking?)!  

If you’re a customer of Beanfield, chances are you’re already acquainted with the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) team. One of them likely orchestrated your Beanfield solution. Their capabilities go beyond your initial sales interactions and solutions design. 

At Beanfield, each team plays a key role in keeping everything running smoothly. When it comes to helping customers get the best out of Beanfield, your CSE is holding down the fort. What’s most impressive is their ability to take highly technical concepts and “ELI5” (Explain Like I’m 5, duh). They can translate “Geek” to a language that sales, provisioning, and customers can understand and relate to. This truly is a superpower.  

Most importantly, our CSEs have a unique, yet vast set of skills that allow them to see both the forest and the trees. When it comes to finding solutions for you, the CSE team takes the time to understand your needs from every angle. And, thanks to their in-depth knowledge of Beanfield’s processes, operations, solution delivery, and support, they are well equipped to map out a solution that fits your unique requirements. 

Even when our customers have requirements that don’t quite line up with our services, our CSEs are committed to figuring out a solution to fill those needs, all while remaining very honest about our capabilities within Beanfield. They will always have your best interests in mind.  

The day in a life of a Beanfield superhero 

On an average day at Beanfield, the CSE team members are juggling meetings, designing solutions, and troubleshooting issues. We often ask ourselves –  how do they do it? They balance all of these priorities yet remain available to help anyone whenever they’re needed (and they are needed…. a lot!). 

So now you get it, CSEs play a big part in ensuring you’re getting the services you need. But what does their ‘day in a life’ look like? If they were to film a vlog, it would look something like this: 

  • Attend prospect and customer meetings to understand requirements 
  • Go back and design solutions that will help customers accomplish their goals 
  • Assist in integrating design into Customer network infrastructure 
  • Provide guidance on networking solutions best practices 
  • Participate in project kick-off and solution implementations when needed 
  • Provide input to support for complex solutions as needed 

Each CSE is assigned to a sales representative with specific customers, so when you’re building your relationship with your Beanfield CSE, you are getting someone who understands your needs and knows your history with the organization. 

Have a new idea? They are available to brainstorm upgrades or new solutions for you. 

Experiencing issues? Best believe they’re representing you within. 

The bottom line is that they’re there for you, they understand your needs, and they can envision how we’re able to help. 

Laser focused expertise where you need it 

To call a CSE a Jack of All Trades is woefully inaccurate. We all know that the full adage is “Jack of all trades; master of none.” We prefer the term “Multidisciplinary Rockstars”! 

Their breadth of skills and knowledge, and their ability to see both the big picture and the tiniest of details, is a helpful resource for all stakeholders involved. Each CSE can talk to all our services, with some having dedicated time to honing areas of special interest. There is a CSE if you want to talk Fibre or get your head out of the clouds (or in the cloud?). They are a tight knit team that work together, sharing their expertise to ensure you get the best advice for any situation.. 

Shaping the future of Beanfield 

Wow, are these folks saving the day or what? Not only are they rescuing everyone and their dogs, they also LIVE for your feedback. Our CSEs work very closely with our Product team so that the firsthand feedback you give us goes right back into our new product process. Imagine that!
