For Immediate Release – November 6, 2019
(Toronto, ON) – Artscape is proud to announce a partnership with Toronto-based telecommunications company, Beanfield Metroconnect, that will provide an invaluable resource to artists, designers and creatives operating in a digitally connected marketplace.
Beanfield Metroconnect will supply Internet service and Wi-Fi connectivity within Artscape Daniels Launchpad’s entire facility, including its co-working space, meeting and event spaces, the Lloyd & Mimy Hodgkinson Computer Lab, five multidisciplinary Creative Studios and its state-of-the-art Digital Media Lab. The improved connectivity will accelerate Launchpad members’ creative projects as they work with large digital assets in the Digital Media Lab’s Photography Studio, VFX Studio, Audio Recording Studio and Editing Suites.
As a Founding Partner of Artscape Daniels Launchpad, Beanfield shares Launchpad’s commitment to supporting Toronto’s vibrant community of emerging and established creative entrepreneurs. The partnership will positively impact Launchpad’s growing membership base of over 900 artists, designers and creatives as they launch and scale their businesses.
“We are honoured to work with Artscape Daniels Launchpad to deliver connectivity to the creative community. We understand that access to telecommunications services is a barrier in production and distribution, and we’re grateful to be in a position to assist and empower the artists in this space”, says Kal Benedict, VP of Sales at Beanfield.
Beanfield will also offer Launchpad members three months of free Beanfield Business Internet and phone services to kick start their businesses. This exclusive offering for Artscape Daniels Launchpad members will help them reduce the start-up costs of launching a creative business.
“Creative entrepreneurs need to be digitally connected to reach potential audiences and buyers,” says Chalo Hancock, Managing Director at Artscape Daniels Launchpad. “That’s why the partnership between Artscape and Beanfield directly benefits Launchpad’s creative entrepreneurs in their path to prosper.”
Over the next three years of this partnership, Artscape and Beanfield Metroconnect have both pledged to support Toronto’s creative community to thrive.
