On June 1st, we hosted the very first annual Beanfield Metroconnect Charity Golf Tournament in support of DayTrippers Children’s Charity.Â
DayTrippers Children’s Charity helps make a difference for kids across Canada by funding trips for grade 1-8 students in lower-income and far-reaching areas, so they can experience nationally recognized educational and cultural institutions. Beanfield is proud to announce that with the support of our sponsors, we raised over $20,000! These funds will help send 1300 children on educational school trips that they otherwise wouldn’t have access to.
The Beanfield Metroconnect Charity Golf Tournament took place at the Angus Glen Golf Club, where Beanfield employees and guests played in support of the charity. Following a fun day on the course, the day wrapped up with a closing ceremony, a fantastic banquet dinner, and a silent auction.Â
The golf course was beautiful, and we would like to thank Angus Glen for helping us host our first tournament. We would also like to thank all of our guests who showed such great support, in addition to all of our sponsors who helped make this event possible. We couldn’t be more proud.
